One of our best sellers, the SC-075 KB was named after barrel racer Kay Blandford, and it has stayed a favorite for riders who need a little more help than an O-ring can give without jumping into a bigger shank.

The 2 1/4" KB ring keeps the feel quick and handy, while the longer purchase helps bring the horse back underneath you and adds collection going into the turn. The setback curb gives you rate and whoa without over-elevating the front end, which makes this one especially useful on a horse that needs to gather up and stay tight without getting too lifted.

The reverse gag gives the mouthpiece enough movement to keep the horse from feeling trapped, while still giving you a quick response when you pick up your reins.

This is a great bit for a colt moving up from an O-ring, a seasoned horse that needs a little more help staying collected, or one that needs to rate, gather, and tighten up without a lot of bit.
