When you need more lift and collection, but want the cue to come through right now, this is a bit worth reaching for.

The SC-75J Long has a 6" shank, a little over 8" overall, and no gag, so there is very little delay between your hand and the horse’s response. The turned-back top helps keep the bit balanced and moves the curb chain away from the cheek to help reduce pinching.

That longer shank gives you more leverage to pick the horse up, gather the body, and get a stronger rate cue going into the turn. It is especially useful on the seasoned horse that needs more help staying elevated and collected when the run gets fast.

Seasoned barrel horses that need more lift, collection, rate, and a quick, direct response without gag action.

Feel
Direct, balanced, and powerful. No gag means the cue comes through quickly, while the longer shank gives you more lift and authority.

Rider Note
