Power Dust for Horses

Proud flesh and scarring can turn even a minor wound into a long-term problem. Power Dust is a poultice blend formulated especially for open wounds, working on fresh injuries and old, stubborn wounds alike to minimize scarring, reduce proud flesh, and in many cases even help avoid the need for stitches on wounds that would otherwise require them.

What It Does

Power Dust is an equine wound care poultice that works by:

Supporting the body's natural healing process through every stage of recovery
Helping minimize scarring and proud flesh
Enhancing healthy tissue growth and circulation at the wound site
Working on both fresh wounds and old, unresolved ones

How To Use It

Apply dry directly to the wound, or mix with water to create a poultice for dressing the wound. For serious wounds, follow label directions carefully and consider pairing with INF-X to help support normal bacteria levels at the wound site.

Why It Matters

How a wound heals in the first days and weeks often determines whether it leaves lasting scarring or proud flesh behind. Power Dust supports the tissue and circulation needed for a clean, complete healing process from the very first application.

Who This Is For

Any horse with an open wound, fresh or old, and any owner who wants to give a wound the best possible chance to heal cleanly, minimize scarring, and avoid unnecessary complications.

Trusted by horse owners nationwide. All-natural and safe. Formulated to support real wound healing, from first application to full recovery.

Tipping my hat to my new hat.

I'm a hat person and have bought dozens of different makes and styles. I recently bought a straw Scala brand hat in Florida and it became my go to favorite. I ordered my new Blue Denim colored Scala hat and it arrived today. As soon as I tried it on I knew it's my new favorite. It arrived perfectly shaped, packaged in a box. I highly recommend this company and the Scala brand.

Hi Karen, thank you so much for your kind words and for recommending us. Enjoy your stylish new hat!

Mohair Mecate Reins

Some "Traditionalists" may complain these are too supple, but I find horsehair to be brutal on my hands. If you are colt starting, these are probably not what you want for starting, but they should be what you are able to use before going to the double rig with the bridle and bit setup.
My only complaint is that they are stored not in round rings, but rather folded together which leaves a LOT of kinks, and kinks in reins lead to miscommunications with the horse. I washed mine in warm water and a good amount of fabric softener, then stretched them out full length with a little bit of tension. There are still some kinks, so I'm going to rewash in some warmer water and try drying in a circle around a barrel. I am sure the kinks will eventually fall out, but don't plan on using them out of the box. Still a great price on a quality product.

Hi Ashley, thank you for your detailed feedback! We're glad you love the feel of the reins and appreciate your tips on managing the kinks. Your insights will surely help other customers. We hope they serve you well in your riding adventures!
