Made from 420 Denier water-resistant polyester, this turnout sheet is a great option for horses that need basic wind and rain protection. It features a 70 Denier poly lining that is soft, breathable, and helps keep your horse’s coat clean and shiny by preventing hair, shavings, and debris from clinging to the inside of the blanket. The lining also reduces friction, helping to minimize rubbing and hair loss.
Though lightweight with no fill, the sheet is carefully engineered to trap body heat and repel external cold. Its coated outer shell includes taped seams and a seamless spine, offering dependable defense against moisture intrusion. At the same time, the breathable materials allow moisture vapor to wick away from your horse’s body to reduce the risk of sweating or overheating.
This turnout sheet includes all the features you'd expect in a higher-end design, like Velcro-secured double buckle front closures with rust-resistant nickel hardware, adjustable low cross surcingles with T-lock fasteners, and elastic leg straps that help keep the blanket from shifting, even when your horse is on the move.
Action shoulder gussets ensure that your horse has full range of motion, while fleece wither protection helps guard against rubs and pressure. Reinforced stress points, double-sewn with heavy nylon binding, add durability, although this sheet is not recommended for horses who bite, rub, or share turnout with others, due to the light strength of the material.
The integrated tail cover provides extra protection from cold winds and rain in the rear. This is a smart, functional turnout option when you want a dependable layer without adding bulk or insulation.
